What kind of games will folks be playing?
We'll be playing board and card games along the lines of Wingspan, Lost Ruins of Arnak, Deception: Murder in Hong Kong, Point Salad, The Crew, etc... Options will range from simple 20 minute games to complex 2 hour (or more!) games . The event organizers will be bringing around 250+ games from a variety of genres. Beyond that, it depends on what everyone else brings!
How much does it cost to attend?
The base cost is $10/day or $20/weekend + your choice of Camp Package. These range from $12 for a single day with no meals to $185 for an all-inclusive weekend package with lodging and 6 meals!
How do I register for a Camp Package?
You can sign up on Miracle Ranch's registration website here: https://crista.venue360.me/public/events/homepage?event=792 Please also remember that there is a $10/day or $20/weekend BRASS Retreat Fee, payable upon arrival at the retreat.
Why are there two fees this year?
In order to give you as much flexibility as possible, we've split the registration into Camp Fees and BRASS Fees. This allows you to choose exactly which meals, nights, and days you'd like to attend.
Can I pay my BRASS Retreat Fee online?
Plan to pay your Retreat fee in person upon check-in. You can pay in cash, or digitally via Venmo or PayPal.
What is included in the cost of my registration?
What's included is based on what Camp Package you choose. This can simply be access to games and play space for the day, or an entire weekend's meals and lodging. Snacks and coffee are included with all packages.
Can I purchase tickets when I get to the event?
Yes and No. While we may be able to work with you, it will help the camp with planning if you sign up for your Camp Package at least two weeks in advance. Note that dietary needs may not be able to be met with late notice.
What's the venue like?
Miracle Ranch is set in a beautiful wooded area on the shore of Horseshoe Lake. The gaming hall is centrally located on the grounds, right next to the dining hall.
What is the lodging like?
You'll sleep in cabins that have 5 bunks each. Each cabin has its own bathroom with sinks and shower. Cabins are a short walk from the game hall. Private or family cabins are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Miracle Ranch directly to confirm availability and price.
What should I bring?
Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, and of course, games! Some snacks and drinks will be available, but feel free to bring your own if you want! A full list of suggested items will be sent upon registration.
Are meals included with my registration?
It depends. Stay-and-Play weekend registration includes all meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other packages will include the meals you choose to include. Snacks, while not a meal, are included in all packages. ;-)
